So, is it a bathroom renovation if you remove the tub? Calling it a toilet room renovation makes it sound like there are only 2 plumbing fixtures in there instead of a tidy three. And, of, course, technically that makes it a powder room (a carryover from another time period, perhaps). Thus, restroom renovation - alliterative and apt.
It had a smart layout - the typical 3 porcelain fixtures. A wall-hung sink, toilet and tub with tile surround. Also, neatly, tucked in there a 36" x 12" linen closet. Minor detail: No counter space. Looking for some, open the linen closet door, free up space on a shelf and voila - counter space. After several years, this feat of acrobatics can get old and the floor begins to look like another option. Might be time for a change!
