Generous roof overhangs make gutters obsolete - a blessing in the fall. The repeating glass block cube pattern lets filtered light into the basement utility space. And the CMU foundation joints were struck such that the horizontal is articulated - all appreciated details.
This unpolished gem was in desperate need of a little TLC.
It has benefited from a new metal roof, door and window replacements, upgraded electrical service and a geothermal heating and cooling system. Two strategically placed skylights bathe the kitchen and studio in natural light.
