With over thirty years of experience on a diverse range of projects, Lara has been actively working on alteration and renovation projects in the collegiate, commercial and residential fields for the past twenty-five years. Prior to starting LG Architecture in 2009, Lara was a member of three different Centre County architectural practice design teams.
As someone who appreciates being able to repurpose a space and give it new life - whether it's an interior refresh or providing an addition that gives its owner that 2-car garage and new kitchen they always wanted while possibly maintaining the architectural fabric of the neighborhood - she recognizes what good design can do. Using a puzzle analogy, sometimes, it's rearranging the existing pieces that lead to the optimal solution - or not. All depends on the client and their program.
Having earned Bachelor of Architecture degree from Penn State University, she is licensed to practice architecture in Pennsylvania and is a member of NCARB.
